• Indwelling Presence (Spirit): Through faith, God's Spirit dwells within a person, allowing them to participate in the divine nature without becoming the Creator.
• Communion and Love: it is a relational oneness, similar to how a branch is part of a vine, rather than an identity absorption.
• Reflection of Divine Character: It is reflecting God's love and holiness, acting as a "mirror" of His presence. 

Why You Are Not God (Distinctions)

• Creator vs. Creature: Oneness does not eliminate the fundamental distinction that God is the infinite Creator and you are a finite creature.
• Distinct Persons: You remain a unique individual with your own volition, not a drop of water dissolving into an ocean
• Limited vs. Infinite:  God is infinite and uncomposed, whereas human beings are finite. 

In summary, this unity is about relationship, not identity; you become a partaker in God’s work and love, while remaining a distinct human being.
